Aggressive Cooling with High-Flow Plenums
The High speed preform mold abandons traditional drilled lines in favor of large cross-sectional area cooling plenums manufactured by vacuum brazing. This technique allows the coolant to contact more steel surface area directly, increasing heat transfer rates by over 50% compared to standard molds.
Low-Inertia Ejection System
To shave tenths of a second from the dry cycle, the High speed preform mold employs a mechanical lever ejection system with minimal moving mass. The stripper plate is made from high-strength aluminum alloy to reduce inertia, allowing it to accelerate and decelerate instantly without shock to the mold base.
Integrated Post-Mold Cooling Pick-and-Place
The mold design is synchronized with a high-speed take-out robot that enters immediately as the mold opens. The robot removes all preforms in one swift motion and transfers them to a chilled cooling station. This "fast-in, fast-out" approach, enabled by a High speed preform mold, dramatically cuts the total cycle time.
Nano-Ceramic Coating for Instant Release
The cavity surface of a High speed preform mold is coated with a nano-ceramic composite that exhibits a contact angle of over 120° with PET. This super-hydrophobic property means the preform releases cleanly the moment the mold opens, requiring little to no ejection force. The result is faster cycles and fewer cosmetic defects.

Installation
After the equipment arrives at the customer's factory and site preparation is completed, Demark will arrange experienced engineers to travel to the customer's country for installation and commissioning upon written confirmation from the customer.
