Preheating: The preform (or preform) is irradiated with infrared high-temperature lamps to heat and soften its body. To maintain the bottle neck shape, the neck does not require heating; therefore, a cooling device is needed to cool it.
Blow Molding: In this stage, the preheated preform (or preform) is placed into a pre-made blow mold, which is then pressurized with air to blow and stretch the preform (or preform) into the desired bottle shape.
Blow molding machines on the market are generally divided into fully automatic and semi-automatic types.
Fully automatic blow molding machines combine the two blowing operations into one using a robotic arm, eliminating the need for manual placement of the preheated preform (or preform) into the blow mold. This significantly increases production speed, but the price is also higher than that of semi-automatic machines.
